Mercedes-Benz E-Class with two nominations for “2010 World Car of the Year”

The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is not only off to a great start in terms of sales numbers but has also won numerous awards in the past few months. Just recently it had won an award for its Attention Assist system in Britain as well as “The best cars of 2010? award from auto motor und sport. Now, it might also have a great chance to win the “2010 World Car of the Year” award which is being presented next month at the Geneva Motor Show. Not only has The E-Class has been nominated for the “2010 World Car of the Year” category, but also for the “2010 World Performance Car of the Year” award, it’s actually Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG that has been nominated for the latter award.
